Embracing The Wild

The client was very specific. Let’s tame this thing. The “thing” was her Louisville home that her innate sense of adventure had exploded with A LOT of freedom. Lol. 
 
I knew exactly what she meant but… tame is not a word I love. Instead I suggested we collaborate, team up, embrace the wild and make her home really her. 
 
In response we doubled down on her exotic tastes born from being a professional travel advisor, infusing the space with imaginative decor that combined her lighting-in-a-bottle energy with the experience and grace of traveling the world.  The master bedroom filled with feminine color and textures set against a bold wallpaper backdrop, the guest bedroom highlighting colorful landscapes and elements of the amazing natural world and the living room merging her Bohemian tastes and a dash of the otherworldly with the shades and spirit of Africa.  And completed by the dramatic, beautiful, live wire,  and truly one of a kind wall mural in the family room. 
Adventure, beauty, comfort, and excitement all reflecting the spirit and soul of the client. All in one space. 
 Nothing tame about it.
